The congregation of Living Hope Presbyterian Church is thankful for the recent “Early Harvest Potluck” that was held following a recent Sunday morning worship. The congregation was challenged to invite friends, co-workers and neighbors. Praise God! There were about thirty extra visitors that day. Unfortunately, none have returned as yet. However, the congregation is thankful to have reached as many as it did and has plans for another potluck during the Christmas season. Please pray for visitors to return. Living Hope is becoming better known in the local community and is starting to contribute in small ways to community events. Please pray that the evangelical temperature of the congregation would rise, and the people would continue to grow in courage in sharing the gospel and inviting people to worship and other church events. Please also pray for the covenant youth. The siren call of the culture is strong, and the youth face a temptations to move away from Christ. Recently a young woman was removed from the roll of the Church, and a very challenging situation is being faced with another. Please pray that Pastor Doug Bylsma may be faithful in preaching and counseling and look to the Father for strength at all times. To Him be the glory.
