Pastor Tim Beauchamp (pronounced “beach-um”) asks us to join the saints at Pleasant Mountain Presbyterian Church as they give thanks to the Lord for the abundant blessings He has showered on them in 2011.
Pastor Beauchamp and his family moved to Bridgton on March 1 and immediately took up duties as pulpit supply while preparing for his ordination exams. After much study throughout the summer, Pastor Beauchamp passed all the exams for the Presbytery of New York and New England at their fall meeting in October and was ordained and installed as the organizing pastor in December.
The congregation rejoices over an increased attendance in worship services throughout the summer and fall months as many visitors from across New England and the east coast, as well as folks from the community, have worshipped with the saints at Pleasant Mountain.
Praise God for the good standing that they are enjoying with the community as well as the opportunity to serve monthly at the local nursing home. Please continue to pray for that nursing home Bible study as well as for other opportunities for outreach in the community. Pray also that in 2012 there will be an increase in membership. And pray for the many relationships that the congregation has with family, friends, and neighbors – that the Lord will be gracious in granting saving faith and for courage to share the Gospel. Finally, pray for the Beauchamps as they continue their transition into New England life, as well as for the health of their family and the education of their children.
