Pastor Brian Chang knocked on a door in December, and the woman who answered indicated an interest in learning Hebrew. About three months ago, Brian began teaching a biblical Hebrew class at the nondenominational charismatic prayer room that the woman is associated with. Five or six people continue to study, and as Brian patiently answers the questions, which “inevitably turn to the Bible, God and theology,” he is gaining good rapport with them.
Two students have visited Verde Valley Reformed Chapel (VVRC). Pray that they will return.
At the end of the month young people from Phoenix, Prescott and Southern California will converge on Cottonwood to hand out flyers inviting people to worship at VVRC. Pray that God will use this effort to bring local visitors. Pray also for the recently established outreach and evangelism committee as it seeks opportunities, including other teaching possibilities, to spread the gospel.
