Almost exactly one year ago a Bible study began in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Today, 40 to 50 people gather for worship each week at Knox OPC.
Pastor Sacha Walicord reports that they see new faces almost weekly. “We don’t do anything special,” he said, “we pray and we open the Word. We pray a lot, I’d have to say.” From the beginning, members of the work have gathered to pray.
Pastor Walicord asks for prayer that the body remains unified, and that it will continue in its commitment to support Worldwide Outreach. Pray too that the congregation will be able to purchase the building they are renting from a Nazarene church that outgrew the space.
