Pastor Philip Dharmawirya reports that attendance and giving are stable at Emmanuel Indonesian Protestant Church. The congregation is united and cares for one another, but they are not growing in number. Pray that the leaders will continue to encourage one another as they consider the limitations of their ministry beyond first generation immigrants. Pray too for wisdom as they consider how they might be more closely united with another Indonesian congregation, forming one core group committed to the Bible. The bonds between the two congregations – both among the few non-charismatic Indonesian congregations in Philadelphia – have been deepening for some time. Praise God that the basement renovation project is going well with much help from the deacons of Emmanuel OPC in Wilmington Delaware.
