Volunteers from several OP churches have begun the demolition phase of a manse renovation project. Another team plans to work on the construction phase of the project in the coming weeks. When finished, Pastor Jay Bennett and his family will have more living space in their apartment above the worship space of Neon Reformed Presbyterian Church. OPC Short Term Missions (http://opcstm.org) lists opportunities for future work on the building as well. Pray that God will continue to provide for the renovation of the building. When Pastor Bennett arrived last February, he began praying that God would add two households to the congregation by the end of the year. God answered that prayer by September, and he is already answering the prayer for two more families by summer. A new household, invited by members, and one covenant child are taking a membership class. Pray that God will give members of the congregation a heart for the lost, as they seek to be more intentional about outreach.
