The people of Gateway OPC have had many opportunities to talk with unbelieving friends and neighbors recently. A member recently died leaving behind his wife and son. Pray that God will comfort his family and provide opportunities for good follow-up to conversations with neighbors who saw their faith lived out through the illness and death of their loved one. A Washington University student from Singapore who has attended Gateway OPC since arriving for the Fall semester has been telling other students about Christ. One, a Chinese student, attended church for the first time ever five weeks ago. He has returned each week, and asks many good questions. Another student, an Islamic man from Lebanon, still thinks that Islam is better than Christianity, but has been open to good conversations. Pray for the conversion of these men. Pastor Todd (Julie) Wagenmaker is planning to change his door-to-door visiting emphasis from outreach to evangelism. Pray that this effort will bear much fruit.
