Grace Reformed Fellowship begins denominational financial support as a particular congregation, having been organized in October. A group of families asked Phil Strong, a former PCA pastor, to help them begin an Orthodox Presbyterian Church. He began preaching regularly for the group in August of last year. He asks for prayer that he will preach the gospel with clarity as the church gathers each week in rented space at a preschool. Some of the families in the congregation are from Riverton, Wyoming, about half an hour from Lander. Pray for plans to begin outreach efforts there early next year. The congregation had a booth at the county fair last summer and several visitors came as a result. Pray that God will provide more good contacts at the Winter Fair in January. Pastor Strong wants to see Grace Reformed counter the fiercely independent culture of the West with a “rugged covenantal-ism” in which people are blessed with good fellowship.
