Hope OPC has experienced significant changes in the past six weeks. Due to developments in its mother church, Westminster OPC in Monroe, the two groups have determined to continue as one congregation – Hope OPC in Mercer Island, a suburb abutting Seattle. This has meant an addition of four families to the work in Mercer Island and having two local elders and two deacons. There have also been many visitors with one family beginning to attend regularly. Average attendance at worship is now about 60, filling about three fourths of their rented space. Pray that the expanded group will continue to mesh well. Praise God for the fellowship that is enjoyed each week as many stay after worship to share a potluck meal. Thank God for the way he is providing for the congregation through faithful giving.
