Trinity Church has begun worshiping in a Lutheran congregation’s building in Syosset (sī’ ä set), NY, about six miles from their previous location. The new location is less expensive and has other advantages over the former location. With the move, the congregation now gathers for worship at 1 p.m. In the short time since the move, attendance has been up. While the worship services have moved, the congregation is still active in Huntington. The book and film club continues to attract many visitors and is now meeting in a cinema. Members also continue to serve the needy at a rescue mission in Huntington. Three deacons were ordained in August, and Pastor Miller says they are serving the congregation well. Pray for continued unity in the body as they continue to grow. Pray too for wisdom for the future as the congregation considers long-term plans.
