Pray, too, that more people in this growing town will visit worship. Pastor Hoadley says the group is united. Pray that they will continue to grow together. Pray for wisdom as Pastor Hoadley and the overseeing session try to develop a plan for nourishing oversight for this isolated body on the edge of a very large presbytery. Pray, too, that the congregation will be wise and faithful as they make plans for outreach and evangelism.

Many in the congregation attend a weekly Bible study currently focusing on Philippians. Pastor Walicord has preached on basic doctrines and eschatology and will soon begin a series on the Gospel of John. Sovereign Grace Reformed Church (OPC) voted recently to petition the Presbytery of the Midwest to organize them as a new and separate congregation. They also voted to call Rev. Harding as their pastor and Matthew Thornton as a ruling elder. Pray that they will be wise and faithfully lead the congregation in this time of transition. Three new communicant members, and three non-communicant members have been added to the congregation. Pray too that the Lord will bless the covenant children of the congregation. Ads recently run on a local Christian radio station did not yield any visitors. Pray that airing the advertisements next to Reformed programming will bear more fruit.
