For the past year, the Lord has provided Wolf River Presbyterian Church with the rental of a beautiful and spacious church building in their suburban Memphis area community. But at the beginning of July, Pastor Mark Winder received a phone call telling him that the building had been sold, and that WRPC would need to find a new meeting place – in four weeks! In a town where nearly every square inch is taken up by a new group assembling, the scramble began for a new meeting place. After nearly all options were exhausted, the Lord opened up a door to meet in a spacious fellowship hall at another church’s facility in Collierville. Their first service in the new building was August 7, and they were blessed with several visitors – including one who had driven to their previous location – and then followed the signs to the new one. Though smaller and less visible, please pray that this facility will prove functional, that all the details of the transition will go well, and that this may provide an opportunity for others to hear of Wolf River Presbyterian Church.
