The families of Lake OPC are thankful for the prayers of God’s people. We are realizing more and more that we stand only by God’s grace. Your prayers are an evidence of his gracious care and provision. Five men were approved to stand for election for the office of elder or deacon, and the pulpit committee is working to find the first regular pastor to lead the developing work forward. It was a busy summer with families’ schedules, diaconal projects, and the birth of Lake OPC’s newest member and Pastor & Kalynn Oldaker’s first grandson. Luke was born to Seth and Rachel Oldaker. Pastor Larry Oldaker, the organizing pastor of Lake OPC, baptized his grandson on October 2. Pray that visitors would attend the three weekly outreach neighborhood Bible studies meeting this fall and the White Horse Inn discussion group that meets monthly. Job concerns and changes along with illness have been continuing needs for prayer. Most importantly, pray for growth in grace and faithfulness to witness to this spiritually needy area of the eastern suburbs of Cleveland.
