As Good Shepherd OPC reaches the end of it’s denominational financial support, the congregation is in far better financial shape than they expected to be. As the school year begins and vacations are over, attendance has stabilized. Retired Regional Home Missionary Glenn Jerrell, who has a relative at Good Shepherd, has agreed to help the congregation by leading some outreach efforts. Good Shepherd will hold a friendship Sunday in October and will host a lessons and carols service on Christmas Eve. Glenn will prepare flyers for the events. Pray that the Lord will bless Glenn’s efforts. The congregation continues to meet once a month to consider material from Embers to a Flame. Pray that these discussions will help members as they consider how to reach out to neighbors. Continue to Remember this small congregation as they seek to serve God in Cincinnati.
