Following a few months leave due to renovations, the congregation of South Austin Presbyterian Church rejoices that they will be able to return to Sunset Valley City Hall for worship this coming Lord’s Day. Pastor Jim is excited to see the ways God is growing the church, with the recent birth of several covenant children, as well as plans for a communicant’s class with three children this Fall. He requests prayer that these young souls might be equipped by the Spirit to make a good profession of faith. Over the summer SAPC engaged in a couple of outreach campaigns. For one of these, a small group from their church went to well-known Zilker Park on a Sunday afternoon. They set up a table with free bottled water and literature, and beside that a white board with the question, “Who is God to You?” There were a few simple conversations that day; however, they request prayer that future outreach of this kind would produce deeper conversations that would point to Christ.
