Bill Welzien reports that the “season” has begun. Tourists from all over the world are flocking to Key West for the sun and warmth. Bill continues to do his open air easel evangelism three times a week at the Mallory Square Sunset Celebration. Not only does Bill preach the Gospel but engages in conversations with any willing to talk. He invites anyone who will be in the area on Sunday to attend the Keys Presbyterian Church (KPC) worship services. There are many who accepted this invitation only to make KPC their home church whenever they are in the area! The congregation takes the Great Commission seriously. A member is involved in jail ministry. Others continue assisting those recovering from Hurricane Irma. The church will celebrate the 30thAnniversary of its first worship service this September— a true testimony to God’s faithfulness. Pray that God would continue to knit the church together and bless their outreach to those people who come for a short time to their hometown. Also, please remember Bill’s wife Sessie in prayer as she faces parathyroid surgery and kidney surgery in the very near future.
