Pastor Bob Holda shares that Resurrection Presbyterian Church (RPC) continues to grow, with two people about to join and seven moving toward membership. Bob also shares the praise that their lessor has been very gracious and is interested in keeping their group there for the long haul. RPC has begun their neighborhood walks again and it has been a good opportunity to offer prayer for the various needs in the community. On one recent walk it was just Bob and his young daughter. She saw a house with a decorative star, thought it was pretty, and asked to stop. Since they had already stopped at that house on a previous walk, Bob was tempted to dismiss this request, but he decided that it wouldn’t hurt to pay a visit. It turned out that the widow who was living there was a shut-in and was very discouraged. They stayed for a while to pray with her and hear her story. Next week another widow from Reformation will be joining Bob to visit this woman. Praise God for the unreservedness of little children! Ask the Lord to continue to work through these neighborhood walks. Last, pray for RPC as they prepare to host a Young Adult Fellowship Night for Wisconsin NAPARC churches in July.
