We are pleased to introduce to you Rev. Carl Miller, organizing pastor of New Braunfels OPC in New Braunfels, TX. Carl was born in Whittier, CA, but spent his growing up years in Houston, TX. He graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2001. In the years that followed he was licensed as a minister and ordained in a small Presbyterian denomination. He then served for eight years as the organizing pastor of two congregations in California and Texas. He and his wife Stacey are blessed with six children: Samuel (18), Noël (16), Caleb (13), Tim (11), Ella (8), and Michelle (4). Carl asks for prayer as their family transitions to this new field. New Braunfels OPC began as a Bible study several years ago when two core founding families of South Austin Presbyterian Church desired to see a church planted closer to their homes. They average 40 in attendance each Lord’s Day and continue to see new and returning visitors. Please pray that these visitors would stay and be committed to the work. Please also pray for clear and fruitful opportunities to spread the gospel and get involved in the community.
