We are pleased to introduce Rev. Michael Seufert as he begins his labors at Mission OPC in St. Paul, MN. Michael and his wife, Samantha, both grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago, IL where they attended the same church. After Michael earned his M.Div. at Westminster Seminary California, the couple moved to Washington, D.C. where Michael completed an MA in Semitic Languages and Literature, a PhD in Biblical Studies, and took his first call at a local PCA church. The Lord blessed the Seuferts with two children while living in D.C.– daughter, Maisie (2), and son, Michael (6 weeks). When the end of his PhD was in sight, Michael began considering calls to full-time ministry. In the Lord’s kind providence, he brought themback to the Midwest. “We are delighted to be here with this sweet church and eager to engage in the work of the ministry of the gospel.” Mission will host Michael’s installation as minister along with the installation of Rev. Ken Honken as Evangelist on 12/6. Rev. Honken is a current OPC minister who serves as chaplain at the Women’s Federal Correction Institution in Waseca, MN. Please pray that the Lord will bless this new season in the life of Mission OPC as he continues to gather and strengthen his church in the Twin Cities.
