We are pleased to introduce our newest mission work to come under denominational support: Grace Reformed OPC in Farmington, Maine. Grace began as a Bible study with an earnest group of families in the winter of 2013. A few months later, they were organized as a mission work of the OPCand worship services began late 2014. Church planter Micah Bickford graduated from Lancaster Bible College in 2000 and WTS Philly in 2011. In 2012, he and his family made the move back to Maine (where Micah grew up), and in 2017 they came to Grace Reformed. Micah and Eileen have three children: William, Lily, and Benjamin. Farmington is a university town in the western mountains of Maine. The surrounding communities are a vacation destination both in the summer and winter, and there is a wide range of economic and social backgrounds. Like all of Maine, Farmington is in desperate need of the gospel. God has provided Grace with a committed core group and a meeting location in the center to town: an historic former Unitarian meeting house. Please pray for visitors; for five new families to join; for continued growth in the love and knowledge of Christ in the body;and that Grace Reformed’s members would have an earnest desire to proclaim Christ with grace and wisdom to neighbors.
