In December, Grace Reformed Fellowship joined with the church who owns their building and had a Christmas meal together. Then, a group from the church went Christmas caroling to a couple of local nursing homes in the community and to a few elderly members and widows. Pastor Mike Schout shares that it was beautiful to see the church being the church and enjoying fellowship, outreach, and ministering to the weak and lonely. In January the adult Sunday School class is splitting up into small groups to pray through Grace Fellowship’s mission and vision statements together, asking God to do what only He can do. The church has also been enjoying their small group times, which seek to encourage, support, and equip the church body in evangelism. This has borne good fruit as people are learning to invite their co-workers to church. Mike asks you to pray that Grace Fellowship wouldbe ever more prayer-dependent, gospel-centered, and Spirit-empowered as they seek to grow in their relationships as a church family and outward in their love for their neighbors.
