Winter is almost over and spring is on the horizon in the Twin Cities. Pastor Michael Seufert shares that Mission OPC is gearing up for their annual “Zwingli Sausage Supper” to be held later this week (3/6 and 3/7). In the past, the event has been both a community outreach and an opportunity to fellowship with other area Reformed churches. This year, Mission OPC will host Dr. David VanDrunen, professor at Westminster Seminary California. Friday evening, Dr. VanDrunen will lead a discussion on the Lord’s Supper. Saturday morning, he’ll lead two seminars on topics related to Christians and culture. Please pray for a fruitful time of fellowship, as well as edification through Dr. VanDrunen’s teaching. The congregation continues to settle into the rhythm of church life with her new minister. Pastor Seufert and his family remain grateful that the Lord has called them to serve at Mission in St. Paul. Michael is also grateful for the excitement and the positive reception of the ministry of the Word in these past months. He asks for prayer that his family would find a house soon in what has proven to be an unexpectedly difficult market. Additionally, Mission has been encouraged by several new families who have been worshiping with them of late. Their prayer is that they will care for them well.
