Regional Home Missionary Lacy Andrews experienced a shift in his work following the temporary cancelation of in-person worship inmid-March. His usual rotational preaching schedule at area mission works was put on hold as services moved online. Efforts to develop new works were also impacted by the shut-down. Now as churches are opening again Lacy has begun to resume his travels. Please pray for wisdom for Lacy and the Presbytery’s Home Missions Committee as they seek the best way forward. Pray, too, for local congregations as they seek to restart in person worship. Specifically, Yorktown, VA is looking for a place to meet until their meeting facility allows them toresume services there. In July and August Lacy is scheduled to serve as chaplain for both the Science Camp and the Stronghold camp at Machen Retreat and Conference Center, though plans are to conduct those camps virtually this year due to the virus. Many of the children at these camps are from churches and mission works that Lacy has worked with over the years. Pray for God’s blessing on this ministry, that He would use these camps to encourage and strengthen some of the youngest members of His flock.
